Two of the most promising athletes of our team were again honored in the annual ranking of the municipality of Elin Pelin - "Sportsman of the Year" for 2022..
In 2022 in the Junior Girls age group, girls born 2008 - 2009, she became a four-time National Champion and a four-time National Vice-Champion, won a total of 28 medals, of which 20 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze. Recorded eight B finals and two A finals for Women category! Achievements that deserve admiration for her age - 13 years! She scored high FINA points of 634 and 633, respectively, at 200m. and 400m. freestyle events. For these achievements, she was awarded a cup and a diploma by the mayor of the municipality.
For her achievements in the 2021-year Simona was chosen as Athlete number one of the municipality of Elin Pelin. Her coach is Petar Ivanov.

In 2022 Alex has won 24 medals – 12 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze. As a two-time champion and two-time vice-champion of Bulgaria for 2022, Alex also set a new national record in a short course pool in the discipline of 50 m. backstroke event with a time of 25.62.
For 2020, Alex topped the " Sportsman of the Year " ranking of the municipality. His personal coach is also Petar Ivanov.
