All in Attitude!
We are happy that 130 children showed what they have learned, have competed, have supported each other, had fun and of course received medals and prizes provided by our partner Speedo.
They all had the extra motivation to perform at their best. The tournament was held in front of the eyes of the Olympic Champion in Karate – Ivet Goranova, and the World Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics from the ensemble of Vesela Dimitrova – namely Margarita Vasileva. The two champions, together with the chairman of NSK Olimp - Emil Milkov, opened the competition and awarded the first prize winners, who added more honors to a rich collection of medals won by the club's swimming competitors during the year. All of them won a total of 378 prizes!
“But what is success really? The greatest success is the skills, knowledge, and habits your children have acquired to earn these honors. The greatest success is what they have become themselves. This is exactly why today I remain calm and confident that the future will be bright, for only one reason - because I know that you, children, will grow up and you will be our future," said Emil Milkov in an emotional speech.
The tournament was tied to the "Christmas Shoe Box" charity cause. All the kids, coaches and special guests collected more than 200 gifts for underprivileged children.
Special plaques were also awarded to the most successful athletes of the club, as well as the best coach of Olimp for 2022. Karina Mitrova and Victor Pehlivanyan received "Golden Fish" plaques. Simona Ivanova and Alex Stoynov were honored with special gifts for their outstanding achievements during the year, and the best coach of the club for the year, Petar Ivanov, received a well-deserved award.
