All in Attitude!
Some time ago, a wonderful idea was born in our club, which we successfully implemented. It is directly related to creating motivation especially for children and is borrowed from combat sports. We have decided to introduce levels of development in the club, which will be evaluated respectively with 5 different colored wristbands and a certificate of effort:
The main goals we want to achieve are: First of all, creating an incentive for children - no matter in which direction they develop: high sportsmanship or sports for health, our children will always strive to improve their swimming skills in order to move to top level, this way we will make them more persistent and more hardworking! Second, kids will learn that by making a focused effort, they can grow, both in the pool and in any of their endeavors. This will be a good example for them that it is through perseverance that they can achieve their goals, and why not their big dreams.
In order to earn a bracelet and a certificate, the children must demonstrate the necessary swimming in front of a jury of the coaching staff and a guest - a deserving person.
This year the event was held for the second time at one of the newest and most modern swimming complexes in Sofia - Complex "Vazrazhdane". Last year we were unable to do the swimming test due to the pandemic and this year the children were more motivated to show what they learned in the pool. 140 children participated, represented by their personal trainers. Our Olympic swimming champion Tanya Bogomilova was a special guest and part of the jury! She graded the children on their performance.
