Parents – coaches meeting

At the end of the year, we held a meeting with the families of all registered competitors. The first part was attended by mothers and fathers of our new swimmers. The main topics we discussed with them were:

• common mistakes made by parents of athletes
• the club's code of ethics
• methods to prevent burnout in sports
• draft plan for competitors

In the second part, we had a discussion with the parents of our previously registered children. With them, we analyzed our results in 2024 and we discussed more:

• how to keep coaches enthusiastic so that they don't lose motivation and don't give up 
• the environment for athletes in secondary and higher education institutions
• the short sport life
• sports calendar
• goals for 2025

We also introduced our special edition of Guide for parents. In the final part of the meeting, we all had the opportunity to have a friendly conversation and glass of wine.
